Detroit Parks Coalition Launch Celebration

After years of working together, the Detroit Parks Coalition has raised nearly $1 million for our next phase. As we launch our organization, we’ll be bringing on new staff, hosting cultural and recreational programs in parks across the city, and allocating funding for capital improvements for Detroit parks.

Please join us for a DPC launch celebration on Monday, April 11 from 2-4 pm in Eliza Howell Park. We will feature music by Marcus Elliot, share our plans for the coming year, and conclude the afternoon with a nature walk led by Eliza Howell Park expert Leonard Weber. Dress for a walk in the woods and wear comfortable clothes and shoes.
