How to Submit an Event

Have an event you want to share on our site? Submit an event through our website and we will list it on our events page!

Guidelines

  • Events must take place in a Detroit park.

  • Events must be free and open to the public.

  • If events are happening in a City park they must be permitted by the City of Detroit’s Parks and Recreation Division when applicable (click here to request a permit).

  • Events must abide by all park rules and regulations.

Instructions

  1. Visit our event submission page.

  2. Fill out your contact and event information

  3. If you would like to add a link to your event, check the box that says “Add a button linking to the event website”

  4. Upload an image (optional)

  5. You’ll receive an email when we’ve approved your event

RECURRING EVENTS: If your event is recurring i.e. held every Saturday at the same venue, at the same time, with the same details, enter in the notes section: "Recurring Event" and the date of the final event. You only need submit this form once.
